About Boot Hill
I have 35 years of experience making music. Both in the studio and live on tour. All the way from Billboard number 1's to local level un-signed artists just starting out. Although I am mostly known in the hard rock and metal scenes, I have worked on just about every type of music out there. I have a ton of awards and accolades if that's what you feel like you need to see. But the most important thing to me is your music and your artistic vision.

My name is Sterling Winfield, and I hail from the heart of Texas, where the spirit of original music of ALL kinds thrives. With 35 years of experience in the industry, I've had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with some of the most iconic bands in the rock and metal genres. My work with Pantera, a band that redefined heavy metal in the 1990's, has been a significant highlight in my career. I've also produced for Hellyeah, Damageplan, King Diamond and Mercyful Fate just to name a few. Each project has been a journey, filled with passion, intensity, and the relentless pursuit of sonic perfection. Rock, metal and music in general are not just genres; they are a way of life, and I am proud to be part of this vibrant community.
